KUCHING: The global economic crisis is not over but is easing, says Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) executive director Emeritus Professor Datuk Dr Mohamed Ariff.

KUCHING: The youths have been called upon to help sustain the cultural harmony in the state through at least another 45 years.
Assistant Minister of Youth Affairs and Tourism Hamden Ahmad said they could do this using the principle of the confluence of cultures, which according to him, had been spelled out clearly by 5th Sarawak Cultural Symposium.

Closing the Intercultural Youth Forum at Camp Pueh here on Sunday, permanent secretary to the Ministry of Social and Urbanisation, Ik Pahon Joyik said the youths' presentation was beyond his expectation.
