KUCHING: A regional conference entitled 'Organic Asia — The Way Forward' will be held from Oct 28 to 31 at the Sarawak Cultural Village. It will be organised by Sarawak Development Institute (SDI) together with the Ministry of Modernisation of Agriculture, International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movement (IFOAM), United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the International Task Force for Harmonisation and Equivalence in Organic Agriculture (ITF).
KUCHING: The Malaysian economy is still one of the strongest in the region, said Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) executive director Emeritus Prof Datuk Dr Mohamed Ariff.
