KUCHING: Sarawak Development Institute's (SDI) latest series of Brown Bag Seminar begins this month with a talk on 'Urban Transport and the Environment: Issues and Challenges in Sustainable Transport Policy in Malaysia: The Case of Kuching, Sarawak'.
KUCHING: The Sarawak Development Institute (SDI), established more than 10 years ago, is continuing to play a key role in providing a plat-form for discussions, dialogues and brainstorming among all stakeholders involved in the State's development.
KUCHING: Urbanisation is not itself "the problem" behind the increasing incidence of social problems, particularly among the young, in Sarawak today, said Social Development and Urbanisation Minister Datuk William Mawan Ikom.
