Sarawak State Secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Haji Mohd. Morshidi bin Abdul Ghani who is also Chairman of Sarawak Development Institute (SDI) in his closing of the Roundtable on Bumiputera Entrepreneurship stressed on the need for the various agencies to step up and relook at the issues highlighted in the Roundtable.
There is a need to relook at issues affecting Bumiputera entrepreneurs, such as expediting approval and issuance of business licences, coordination and consolidation of information as well as improvement on competency and quality of entrepreneurs.
There is a need for double efforts to strengthen the communication planning of the Sarawak Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE), the state government arrowhead programme targeted to transform Sarawak into wealthiest state by 2030.
