Job Description:
We are looking for a Graphics Designer who share the passion to communicate and engage with our target audience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs. As a Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for collaborating with our research, conference, and communication teams to create visually engaging content that align with our objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Create and design graphics for various contents, social media platforms, websites, and print materials.
- Work closely with relevant officers to understand project requirements and develop design concepts.
- Maintain and enhance existing design assets, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and techniques to continuously improve the quality of design work.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Graphics Designer or a similar role.
- Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including digital and print materials.
- Good understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Prior work experience in designing is preferred, but not compulsory.
- Certification/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
- Knowledge on website building and maintenance as well as a good comprehension of the English language would be a great advantage.
Starting Salary:
RM1,500-RM2,500 (depending on work experience and academic qualifications)
